General Clerk III - Transportation

SKC is seeking a General Clerk III – Transportation to provide support to the Transportation account to include vehicle management functions.

Duties:

  • Selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of appropriate transportation procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals.
  • Performs a variety of inputs into government LIS. 
  • Utilizes government provided Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as GCSS-A.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Must have at least 2 years of documented experience supporting transportation and vehicle management
  • Knowledge of transportation forms and other transactions pertaining to transportation
  • Ability to plan itineraries and schedule transportation functions
  • Possess basic proficiency in English language (reading & writing) and basic arithmetic, typing/keyboarding, customer service skills required to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Prior Military experience desired
