Program Manager

SKC is currently seeking a Program Manager to plan, execute, and finalize program requirements according to the statement of work (SOW) and strict deadlines. The position for Program Manager consists of three components: leadership, team management and development, and program operational management. The individual selected for this position will supervise over 60 contractor personnel that support various areas within property accountability and warehouse services. As leader, Program Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships within the project to ensure all goals and objectives set by the contractors and clients are met by staff members. The individual will coordinate the project effort and be the contractor’s central point of contact with the client. By identifying the plan’s objectives, the individual shall efficiently define the goals and deliverables that support business collaboration with upper management as well as for the participants in the project. The job requires the individual to acquire resources and coordinate with team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to implement the project according to plan. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that subordinate staff are properly trained to perform all functions within the section to meet all required deadlines. The Program Manager must ensure the client’s demands are executed properly, to the appropriate standards dictate within the SOW, and on time. In addition, the Program Manager will be held accountable for the program operational management of the contract. This requires the individual to estimate the resources and staff members needed in order to establish maximum efficiency of worker and output productivity. He/she will assist with drafting and submitting budget proposals to upper management. The individual selected to fill this management position will be responsible for completing performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, and other personnel management functions. The individual must be self-motivated, flexible to changing requirements, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America, have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and be able to maintain it. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree most preferably in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Logistics or other applicable area. Candidate must have a minimum of six years experience in the management and supervision of logistics related activities. The individual selected will have at least three of these years at a level equal to this position in an activity involved in warehouse logistics support activities. Must be able to pass a drug screening.
